Gameplay

Khronologic combines aspects of puzzle and platform gaming. The goal is to collect the machine parts that are scattered across time. You have the ability to rewind time. Some objects and platforms are not affected by rewinding, so rewinding allows you not only to undo mistakes, but also to reach places that are otherwise unreachable.

Each zone is governed by different laws affecting time flow. For example, in one zone, time flows forward when you go right, and backwards when you go left. Solving a puzzle involves figuring out how to use a level's time flow to your advantage.
